Safety Plus® II
Safety Plus® II offers superior performance and is less expensive to produce
than other impact resistant glass products. Safety Plus® II hurricane impact
resistant glass was developed following extensive research by Glasslam into
the needs of the market place. Simplicity of use, architectural appeal and
performance were the key objectives met by this design.
- Passes large missile test in virtually all thicknesses of monolithic and insulating glass (annealed, heat-strengthened and tempered)
- Very high design pressures can be achieved as tempered glass can now be used
- Safety Plus® II has both UV stabilizer and 99.9% UV blocker (unlike UV curing resins)
- Incredible strength and excellent adhesion to glass
- Compatible with all high performance glass coatings
- Optional and patented PET glazing "flap" increases performance and safety
